AILA Research Network (ReN): “Multilingual approaches to fluency”

The AILA Research Network (ReN) “Multilingual approaches to fluency” (2024–2027) is co-convened by Dr. Pauliina Peltonen (University of Turku) and Prof. Clare Wright (University of Leeds). We host an annual online webinar and and bring together researchers working on fluency-related topics.

We advertise our upcoming activities and share resources related to fluency research on our mailing list.

Our next online webinar will be organized on 8 May 2026 at 12:00–13:00 BST (UTC+1). Our invited speaker is Professor Parvaneh Tavakoli (University of Reading). To get the Zoom link for the event, contact the convenors.

We plan to organize a fluency-themed symposium at the next AILA World Congress (2027) to follow up on the previous fluency symposia at the 2021 and 2023 AILA World Congresses.
